Scott Mainwaring started learning guitar and playing in bands in 1977 at the age of 11 and continues to play to this day, performing, recording, composing and teaching music. Scott lives in Penguin, Tasmania, but lived in Sydney from 1988 to 2002. All throughout the 1980’s and 90’s and early into the new millennium Scott played with Australian Blues and Roots Artist Pale Riders. Through the 90’s Pale Riders recorded and released three albums and two EP’s and held the stage with many major rock acts all over Australia and overseas. Since Pale Riders disbanded on 2001 Scott has returned to Tasmania and has continued to follow his musical passion. For the past 10 years Scott has worked as a music mentor at Burnie High School and Is currently playing guitar with the Sheyana Band and the Tom Collins Trio.
